Announcing Elemental Accelerator 2.0 and Elemental Accelerator for Mac!
Elemental is pleased to announce worldwide availability of Elemental Accelerator 2.0 for Windows and Elemental Accelerator 1.2 for Mac. Elemental Accelerator, formerly known as RapiHD, is a video processing plug-in for Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 that provides high-effiency, high-performance H.264 video encoding for Blu-ray, online and mobile device distribution. Unlike CPU-only and specialized hardware encoders, Elemental Accelerator leverages the GPU in a complete solution to deliver a signifcant encoding performance boost without compromising video quality.
With release 2.0, Elemental Accelerator functionality has been extended from the NVIDIA Quadro CX to a wide array of Quadro FX professional video cards. On the desktop, Elemental Accelerator 2.0 works with the Quadro FX 5800, 4800, 3800 and 1800. On mobile platforms, Elemental Accelerator works with the Quadro FX 3700M and 2700M. And for the Mac OS, Elemental Accelerator 1.2 is available exclusively with the Quadro FX 4800 for Mac. Elemental Accelerator is available bundled with compatible Quadro FX video cards or can be purchased as a standalone package for users who already own a qualified card or mobile GPU from www.nvidia.com/adobeplugins. Visit Nvidia's new plug-in store soon to take advantage of limited-time discounted offers of 50%!
For users who already own RapiHD Accelerator, you can easily upgrade to the newest version of Elemental Accelerator at no cost. Simply launch Adobe Premiere Pro and from within the Export Settings dialog box, select the RapiHD Accelerator format. Then, select the "More Info" tab and click on the "Check for updates" button. You will then be directed to the Elemental Accelerator updates website appropriate to your graphics card.
