Elemental Accelerator gets high marks from CG Channel
In his review of the Quadro CX for CG Channel, Jason Lewis calls out the benefits of Elemental Accelerator and notes it is the feature that makes the card really shine. He highly recommends it for video professionals for whom time is money and super-fast encoding speeds are essential. Check out his article here. Following are some of the highlights!
“To the high-end professional who depends on fast and stable hardware to get the job done, this card is definitely worth every penny.”
“In the newest version of Premiere, there is only one feature that is accelerated with the Quadro CX card, but it is in that feature that the CX card really shines. High Definition video encoding (H.264) is what this card is really meant to do, and this feature is only accelerated with the Quadro CX.”
“This plugin basically offloads all the encoding calculations done when exporting H.264 HD media to the video cards GPU and is then exported a lot faster than encoding with the system CPU.”
