Elemental is dedicated to perfecting the media experience by designing video processing software to run on the fastest off-the-shelf hardware available on the market. Our world-renowned expertise in using massively parallel architectures affords us the opportunity to develop on and program for a variety of hardware platforms early in the product lifecycle.

As processors with parallel processing power like NVIDIA’s Fermi GPU and Intel’s Sandy Bridge hybrid CPU and GPU come to market, we identify opportunities to support and integrate these solutions into our full product line. Typically, we integrate new hardware platforms into our consumer product line first and then integrate them over time into our enterprise-class products as technologies mature. With this approach, Elemental always remains on the forefront of the innovation curve. We are proud of the relationships we’ve built with NVIDIA and Intel and will continue to focus on partnering with silicon vendors creating best-of-breed parallel hardware.
